Ecological and Landscape Regeneration > Regenerative Field Practice

Regenerative Field Practice
Regenerative Field Practice translates regenerative design into tangible ecological restoration and land tending practices.

When is it relevant?
This work is suitable when implementation is needed — from habitat restoration and water retention systems to agroecological interventions and community-based restoration efforts — embedding hands-on implementation within processes of collective learning.

What do we do?
We coordinate and facilitate hands-on ecological interventions, often integrating training elements and participatory involvement. Field practices are designed to align with broader regenerative strategies.

Typical outcomes
- Restored ecological functions
- Strengthened stewardship culture
- Increased local ecological capacity
- Alignment between design and practice
How is learning embedded?
Fieldwork becomes experiential learning. Participants develop practical skills, ecological awareness, and a deeper relationship with place through embodied engagement.
Example Project
Post-Fire Ecosystem Restoration at Corte Medronheira
Following a severe wildfire, we facilitated a series of regenerative field actions at our living laboratory in Corte Medronheira, combining soil restoration, water retention techniques, native planting, and collective land stewardship. The process strengthened ecosystem recovery while cultivating practical skills, community resilience, and long-term fire-adaptive land care.
