Our Practice
Orla Design supports organizations, collectives, communities, territorial initiatives, and individuals in building regenerative futures rooted in place..
Our practice brings together ecological design, participatory processes, and collective learning to support groups in navigating complexity and acting with care, clarity, and shared responsibility.
It unfolds across two complementary domains that reflect how transformation happens in practice: Ecological and Landscape Regeneration, and Collaboration, Governance, and Collective Resilience.
Ecological and Landscape Regeneration

This field engages with the living systems that sustain territories.
It explores how landscapes are regenerated, how ecological understanding deepens through practice, and how communities reconnect with place.
- What are we regenerating or designing?
- How do we listen to and work with the land, ecosystems, and context?
- How does learning emerge through ecological practice?

Collaboration, Governance and Collective Resilience

This field focuses on the social systems that shape collective action. It strengthens relationships, structures, and shared purpose, fostering conscious and resilient collaboration.
- Who needs to be involved?
- How do groups and teams organize, decide, and work together? What lies beneath the surface?
- How is learning cultivated, shared, and sustained over time?
Learning
interwoven in practice

“Each process — whether ecological, organizational, or territorial — is held as a space to develop ecological literacy, collaborative capacity, and shared responsibility.”
Through real contexts, lived experience, and collective practice, learning becomes an integral part of action.
If you are looking for a pathway more dedicated to learning — as an individual, organization, or territorial initiative — you can also explore our learning programs.
